Jojoba oil is derived from the seeds of the Simmondsia chinensis plant, native to the arid regions of the south-western United States and Mexico. Technically a liquid wax rather than an oil, it closely mimics the natural sebum produced by our skin.

This unique similarity means jojoba is absorbed readily by the skin without clogging pores, making it suitable for all skin types. It is packed with vitamins E and B, as well as minerals like zinc and copper that help to nourish and protect.
